Cisco Talent Bridge Terms of Use
These Terms of Use are governed by, and incorporate by reference, the Cisco Web Site Terms of Use, available at https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/about/legal/terms-conditions.html, as may be updated from time to time. By accessing or using the Cisco Talent Bridge platform, you agree to be bound by both these Terms of Use and the Cisco Web Site Terms of Use. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between these Terms of Use and the Cisco Web Site Terms of Use, these Terms of Use will control solely with respect to the subject matter expressly addressed herein, and the Cisco Web Site Terms of Use will control in all other respects. Any matters not specifically addressed in these Terms of Use will be governed by the Cisco Web Site Terms of Use.
1. Background. Cisco’s Talent Bridge platform, including but not limited to the management system, delivery system, services manager, and related services or features found within the platform (collectively, the “Site”), is intended for use by approved Cisco Networking Academy students, previous Cisco employees, other various candidate sources, Cisco authorized resellers, Cisco authorized distributors, Cisco customers, and any other authorized entities (individually or collectively referred to as “User,” “Users,” or “You”) as a means to facilitate interactions related to possible employment opportunities, candidates, and Cisco authorized third-party users. Cisco may choose, in its discretion from time to time, to make available all, none, or only some of these services subject to the following Terms of Use (“TOU”). By using the services in any manner, the User is agreeing to comply with the TOU. Cisco may modify, enhance, restrict, or terminate the services in its discretion at any time.
2. Platform Purpose. This site facilitates interactions and visibility between Users generally consisting of two subgroups: (1) individuals seeking employment with entities associated with (but not a part or subsidiary of) Cisco (“Candidates”); and (2) independent third-party Cisco channel partners, distributors, suppliers, and customers (“Talent Seekers”). Cisco, through Talent Bridge, provides job matching services and enables communication between Users but does not act as an employer of record or agent for any opportunities found through the matching services.
3. Rules and Regulations. This Agreement sets forth the legally binding terms for use of the Site. This Agreement remains in effect even if you discontinue using the Site.
a. Amendments. Cisco may change or supplement the terms of this Agreement from time to time at its sole discretion. Cisco will use reasonable efforts to provide notice on the Site of material changes to this Agreement. After five (5) business days of posting changes to the Agreement, they will be binding upon you. If you do not agree to the changes, you must discontinue using the Site. Users who continue using the Site after such five-business-day period will be deemed to have accepted the changes to this Agreement.
b. Posting Content. Some of the information on the Site is posted by Users, not Cisco. You must ensure your postings are in compliance with local or regional laws. Please choose carefully the information you post, either in a Profile or elsewhere on the Site. Users are solely responsible for their postings, text, files, images, photos, video, sounds, works of authorship, or other materials (“Content”) posted on the Site or linked to or referenced from the Site. Your linking to any other websites is at your own risk. Cisco shall have the sole discretion to delete or move any Content made available on the Site for violating the TOU or for any other reason.
c. Third-Party Content. The Site may contain links to other websites. Cisco is not responsible for any content, messages, or information on such websites. Such websites are in no way investigated, monitored, or checked by Cisco. Inclusion of any linked website on the Services does not imply approval or endorsement of the linked website by Cisco. When you access these third-party sites, you do so at your own risk. Cisco takes no responsibility for third-party advertisements which may be posted on the Site or through the Services, nor does it take any responsibility for the goods or services provided by any advertisers. Users should take any necessary actions as appropriate before proceeding with any online or offline transaction with any of these third parties.
