Senior AWS Cloud Engineer

We're looking for a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Services team and help customers successfully deploy, migrate, and optimize workloads in AWS. In this role, you'll work directly with customers to implement cloud solutions, support modernization initiatives, and deliver technical expertise throughout the post-sales lifecycle.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone coming from an AWS consulting firm, managed service provider (MSP), cloud services organization, or AWS-focused systems integrator who enjoys both customer engagement and hands-on technical delivery.

What You'll Do

• Design, deploy, and support AWS-based cloud environments for customers and partners
• Lead cloud migration and modernization projects
• Implement AWS infrastructure solutions aligned to customer requirements
• Build and configure cloud environments using AWS best practices
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and AWS Sales Engineers to deliver customer solutions
• Support customers through onboarding, implementation, deployment, and optimization activities
• Troubleshoot technical issues and recommend improvements to cloud environments
• Participate in customer meetings and serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout project delivery
• Document architectures, configurations, implementation activities, and operational procedures
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, architecture, sales, and delivery teams to ensure customer success

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of experience working with AWS cloud technologies
• Hands-on experience deploying, configuring, and supporting AWS solutions
• Experience delivering cloud projects in customer environments
• Strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure, services, networking, and security concepts
• Ability to engage directly with customers and communicate technical concepts effectively
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical delivery skills
• Experience working independently while managing multiple customer engagements

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certifications such as:
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
  • AWS Certified Developer
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (with advanced AWS experience)
• Background working for an AWS consulting partner, cloud services provider, MSP, systems integrator, or similar services organization preferred
• Familiarity with cloud governance, security, and operational best practices
