Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
  • Drive sales growth across assigned territories, products, and vendor portfolios.
  • Build and execute business development plans to increase market penetration.
  • Develop strategies to acquire new customers and expand existing accounts.
  • Generate a healthy pipeline of opportunities through proactive prospecting and networking.

Sales

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Drive revenue, gross margin, and market share growth.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful opportunity closure.
  • Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions wherever required.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Understand customer business challenges and recommend suitable technology solutions.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and account retention.
  • Manage escalations and resolve customer concerns effectively.

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
  • Provide market feedback to product and vendor management teams.
  • Identify new market segments and growth opportunities.
  • Recommend business strategies based on market insights.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product Managers, Pre-Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams.
  • Support product launches, roadshows, webinars, and partner events.
  • Ensure alignment of sales activities with organizational objectives.

Experience

  • 5-10 years of experience in Business Development, Channel Sales, Account Management, or IT Sales.
  • Proven track record in the IT Distribution, Value-Added Distribution, System Integration, or Technology Industry.
  • Experience working with OEMs such as Microsoft, Cisco, Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Fortinet, Sophos, VMware, Adobe, or similar vendors.
  • Strong exposure to channel partner ecosystems and enterprise sales.
