Assistant Product Manager

Role Summary:

We are seeking a commercially driven Product Manager to lead the growth and profitability of our Server & Storage B2B and SNS portfolio across the South Region. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, hardware product sales, channel and vendor management, P&L ownership, inventory planning, and claims management. This role requires excellent communication and analytical skills, along with the ability to drive vendor partnerships, optimize product performance, and deliver sustainable business growth within the distribution ecosystem.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage and drive the Server & Storage product portfolio, across the South Region, ensuring achievement of revenue, profitability, and market share targets.

  • Own the product portfolio strategy, business planning, and execution in alignment with organizational growth objectives.

  • Develop and implement go-to-market plans, sales initiatives, and demand generation programs to accelerate business growth.

  • Drive revenue and margin performance through effective P&L management, pricing strategies, and business forecasting.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, channel partners, system integrators, and enterprise customers.

  • Collaborate with regional sales teams to identify business opportunities, create pipeline, and maximize market penetration.

  • Manage vendor relationships, including quarterly business reviews, target setting, incentive programs, negotiations, and business development initiatives.

  • Oversee inventory planning, forecasting, and stock management to ensure optimal product availability while minimizing inventory risks.

  • Manage vendor and partner claims, rebates, and commercial processes to ensure timely closure and maximized profitability.

  • Analyze market trends, competitive activities, and customer requirements to identify new growth opportunities and recommend business strategies.

  • Drive channel development by recruiting, enabling, and managing partners to expand coverage and increase product adoption.

  • Conduct partner and customer engagements, product presentations, and solution positioning to enhance business opportunities.

  • Track business performance through regular reviews, reporting, and analytics, providing actionable insights to leadership.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless business execution.

  • Ensure achievement of business KPIs related to revenue, margins, inventory turns, market share, and partner engagement.

  • Promote innovative enterprise infrastructure solutions that address evolving customer needs and support long-term business growth.

Qualification & Experience:

MBA with 10 years + work experience in managing partners, vendors and conversant to deliver business across Server & Storage.
