Start your career in technology sales with excellent earning potential, global exposure and the support to grow from day one. You'll be actively developing your skills, expanding your commercial knowledge and preparing for future customer engagement through hands-on learning, mentoring and real business exposure.

Our sales teams play a key role in helping some of the world’s leading organisations use technology to solve business challenges, improve how they work and achieve their goals. As part of the team, you’ll help customers source, transform and manage their technology infrastructure, while building the skills, confidence and commercial understanding to grow a successful career in sales.

Our 16-month Sales Associate Programme starts in September 2027 and gives you a structured development journey, access to high-quality training and the opportunity to accelerate your career in a fast-moving technology sales environment.

You’ll work alongside other Associates across the UK, Europe and the USA, learning how the full sales cycle works and developing the sales skills, business knowledge and confidence needed to build long-term relationships with our customers.

You’ll be part of a commercially driven culture shaped by our Winning Together values, where you’ll be coached and supported by experienced people across the business. Along the way, you’ll build your network across Computacenter and the wider technology industry, gain exposure to leading technology partners and develop a clear understanding of how we deliver value for our customers.

Many of our previous Associates have progressed into successful sales and leadership roles, so if you’re looking for a place where you can learn, grow and build a long-term career, this could be the opportunity for you.

What you’ll do

  • Spend time on rotations across different areas of the business to understand how Computacenter works and how we support our customers.
  • Build your knowledge of technology, products and solutions, and how they help customers achieve their business goals.
  • Develop the core sales skills needed to become a confident, high-performing sales professional through practical sales activities, presentations, training and one-to-one coaching.
  • Gain hands-on experience creating customer-facing materials and learning the tools and processes that drive sales success. As you progress through the programme, you'll build towards supporting real customer opportunities, live sales campaigns and commercial conversations.
  • Take part in partner site visits and wider technology events with leading brands such as Apple, Microsoft and Dell, giving you exposure to the tech industry beyond the day-to-day role.
  • Drive your personal development by building self-awareness, developing your personal brand and learning how to engage with key stakeholders.
  • Work towards external, industry-recognised sales training and qualifications to support your long-term career in sales.

What you’ll need

  • To be eligible, you must either hold a degree and have completed at least 12 months' continuous service with Computacenter, or have completed at least two years' continuous service with Computacenter by the programme start date in September 2027. Please also ensure you have read the internal moves policy.
  • A genuine interest in technology, sales and working with customers to solve real business challenges.
  • The ability to communicate with different people, building relationships and being curious enough to ask questions.
  • A proactive and motivated approach, with the ability to manage your time and balance different priorities.
  • A growth mindset, a willingness to learn and the drive to keep developing throughout the programme.
  • Availability to start the 16-month Sales Associate Programme in September 2027.
  • We believe the best learning happens through connection and experience. That's why you'll spend much of your time working alongside colleagues across the business, attending events and engaging with our technology partners, helping you build your network, develop your skills and progress your career.

What you can expect

  • The opportunity to significantly increase your earnings after the programme. Many previous Associates have progressed into successful sales careers, with some doubling their earnings within a year of completing the scheme.
  • Real exposure to executive and senior leaders from across the business.
  • A clear career pathway beyond the programme, with opportunities to move into roles such as Account Manager or Sales Specialist and progress towards future leadership positions.
  • Structured training, external learning and recognised sales development to help you build confidence quickly.
  • A dedicated support network, including a buddy, mentor and wider graduate community.
  • The opportunity to work with some of the world’s biggest technology brands, including Microsoft, Cisco, Dell Technologies, HP and Lenovo.
  • An associate community across the UK, Europe and the USA, giving you the chance to connect, collaborate and learn from others at a similar stage in their career, with opportunities to build an international network.
