Cisco Talent Bridge
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Talent Bridge?
Talent Bridge is Cisco’s global career‑support platform designed to bridge the gap between skilled talent and Cisco’s global network of employers—turning potential into professional opportunity. By utilizing skills-based matching, the platform helps candidates discover meaningful professional opportunities while assisting employers in building sustainable, high-quality talent pipelines.
How does the platform work?
Talent Bridge connects talent with opportunity. Candidates create and maintain their profiles on Talent Bridge, uploading their resumes and self-reporting their skills, experience, and certifications. Employers post job openings, and candidates apply directly through the platform, ensuring a smooth and confidential process.
Our smart matching technology pairs job requirements with candidates whose skills and interests align—helping you find the right fit faster.
Please note that Cisco does not guarantee employment, verify credentials, or conduct background checks. Employers are responsible for all candidate vetting, verification, and compliance.
What makes Talent Bridge different?
While many platforms let users list skills, Talent Bridge takes it further—spotlighting project experience and real, hands-on work rather than relying on resume keywords alone. The result: candidates stand out based on what they can actually do, not just their past job titles or degrees. And because Talent Bridge is built around the Cisco Channel Partner ecosystem, it creates exclusive opportunities on both sides. Employers connect with a pipeline of project-ready talent aligned to the Cisco ecosystem, and candidates gain visibility with employers actively looking for their capabilities.
Who is eligible to participate?
- Candidates: Talent Bridge is open to individuals with relevant skills, training, certifications, or experience, including technical, non-technical, and Cisco aligned backgrounds.
- Employers: Access is available to Cisco’s Employer Ecosystem, including registered Channel and Distribution partners, suppliers, customers, and various external organizations. Non-partner employers may be considered via our Customer Pilot program on a case-by-case basis.
Is there a fee to use Talent Bridge?
No. Talent Bridge is a Cisco-sponsored benefit provided at no cost to candidates and members of Cisco’s Employer Ecosystem. Our goal is to expand access to opportunities, support workforce development, and foster skills-based connections across the Cisco network.
What role does Cisco play in the hiring process?
Talent Bridge is a connection platform only, designed to support informed hiring conversations. Cisco does not guarantee employment, verify credentials, conduct background checks, or participate in hiring decisions. Candidates self-disclose their qualifications. All evaluation, verification, background checks, and compliance are the responsibility of the hiring organization.
How does Talent Bridge protect my information?
We adhere to Cisco's global standards for privacy, security, and responsible data handling. We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your professional profile and resume data. While this information is shared with authorized Cisco Partners to facilitate career matches, these Partners manage their own compliance and data handling as independent entities once they access your profile.
